Residences by Armani/Casa

Sunny Isles Beach. Armani/Casa. César Pelli's last tower — 308 homes dressed by Giorgio Armani, finished months after the architect's death.

Editorial entry · sources recorded · property confirmation pending

César Pelli's last building: a 56-storey glass tower on 300 feet of Sunny Isles beach, finished in late 2019, months after the architect died, with 308 homes whose interiors, lobby and amenities were dressed by Giorgio Armani's Armani/Casa studio — the first Armani/Casa residences in the United States. Dezer and Related sold more than a billion dollars of it; one penthouse came with a trip to Italy to meet Armani.

Armani/Casa is Armani's interiors house, not the hotel brand — the register holds it apart from the Armani Residences at Diriyah and on Palm Jumeirah. Listing sites disagree with the developer: one gives 54 storeys, another 60 storeys, 260 units and a 2020 completion; the register follows the developer's account at completion.

Named in Forbes Travel Guide's inaugural VERIFIED Luxury Residences collection, 2026, as Residences by Armani/Casa Miami — and the two releases disagree about where it is: Forbes's own list gives 18975 Collins Avenue, Sunny Isles Beach, while FirstService Residential's release gives Miami. The register holds Sunny Isles Beach and records the discrepancy rather than choosing silently.

Who it is not for

Not for a buyer seeking hotel service: the building is residential, with an amenity programme rather than a hotel.

22.09.2026 · United States, run 1 — Miami: a supertall, an implosion, and César Pelli's last tower

Up the beach at Sunny Isles, two finished towers: Residences by Armani/Casa, César Pelli's last building, completed months after his death, and The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Sunny Isles Beach, a droplet by Arquitectonica with no hotel inside. A listing gives the Ritz-Carlton the Armani tower's height, almost certainly by carrying it over; the register records no height rather than a borrowed one.
