Fendi Château Residences
Surfside, United States. Fendi. Fifty-eight residences on three hundred feet of oceanfront — the maison's first residential project anywhere.
Fendi had never built a residence before this one, and it built it at twelve storeys rather than fifty. Fifty-eight flow-through apartments spanning the full width of the building at 9349 Collins Avenue, completed 2016 by Chateau Group on about three hundred linear feet of beach — deliberately the opposite of the towers going up a few miles south.
Plans run 3,400 to over 7,000 square feet, ceilings ten feet and eleven in the penthouses, private lift entries, maid's rooms and service entrances; the three penthouses have rooftop decks and their own pools.
Six units were listed at once in 2026, at USD 12.25 to 27.5 million — roughly a tenth of a fifty-eight-unit building on the market a decade after completion. That is a real resale market with a published spread, and this register has found only a handful: St. Regis Deer Valley with 114 closed sales, Baccarat New York with its ask-versus-achieved gap, Raffles Makati with a decade of trading. The Library holds the brand at LHL-A-009 and Anna Fendi at LHL-P-307; the register resolved both by name against the export rather than from memory, which is the practice the last exchange established.
Named in Forbes Travel Guide's inaugural VERIFIED Luxury Residences collection, 2026, as Fendi Chateau at 9349 Collins Avenue. The designation is a service certification and carries no star level.
Who it is not for
Not for a buyer who wants hotel service: Fendi supplied the design and the name and does not operate the building. Not for anyone who wants a tower's amenity — twelve storeys and fifty-eight households carry the costs.
