Marea, Interiors by Missoni

Phase one delivered in 2024 and the whole scheme due December 2027 — with the developer publishing no unit count at all, and the architect and the agent one apart.

Editorial entry · sources recorded · property confirmation pending

The developer publishes the dates and not the count. Dar Global's own project page says “Phase 1 of Marea completed in 2024” and “The full development is scheduled for completion in December 2027”, with status Under Development. It gives no number of residences. The architect, HCP Architecture & Engineering, says 64 on its own project page; the selling agent says 65. One apart, and neither of them the developer.

So the register's inventory field is empty on a built project. It is not a research failure: the party that would know has chosen not to say, the two parties that have said disagree, and a count split between an architect and an agent is not a developer's count. The register prints both and totals neither. The brand's role is stated plainly — “Missoni provided the interior design across the collection” — and so the managed-by field stays empty.

The estate is Finca Cortesín and the relationship with its hotel is unpublished. The architect places the project at “Finca Cortesín, Casares, Málaga”; nobody publishes a service, club or management arrangement with the hotel that gives the estate its name. The register's hotel field records the address and the silence — which on this coast is the single most common thing a buyer assumes and no document supports.

Casares already holds one register record — The St. Regis Residences, Casares, inside the same estate — and Marriott still describes that one as its first branded residence in Spain. Two branded schemes inside one golf estate in a municipality of a few thousand people is the densest point this sweep found outside Marbella itself.

Not for a buyer who needs to know how many homes they are buying into: the developer publishes no count and its architect and agent disagree. Not for anyone assuming the hotel comes with it.

In the journal

26.10.2026 · A three-star hotel in a ski station sells its own rooms, and an article of Andalusian law says why the owner gets sixty nights.

A reader sent a link and said: look, there are residences in the Spanish mountains. There are — and the hotel is selling its own rooms. The Mountains at Pradollano: “You buy a hotel room and at the same time you sign a lease contract with the hotel.” Thirty-seven rooms with independent Land Registry entries, from EUR 257,000, and owner use capped at 30 nights a year or 60.

Investment migration — the facts the rule turns on

The rule for Spain: Closed to property — checked 24.09.2026.

The register publishes the facts and the rule; it does not say whether any purchase qualifies. Eligibility attaches to a sale, not to a building, and the register is not immigration counsel.
