Four Seasons Hotel Moscow — the 88 apartments

This record asserted a product that has never existed, and the correction is the record. Moscow has never appeared on Four Seasons' residences index — not before 2022, not now. The 88 apartments of 13,692 square metres, with 180 parking spaces over 2,251, were sold by the developer OAO Dekmos as апартаменты inside the hotel building. No Four Seasons residential licence has ever been published by anyone. The register had a record titled Four Seasons Residences Moscow; there was no such thing, and it is now titled for what the thing is.

The brand suspended management and the building kept the name. A representative told RBC on 7 July 2022 that Four Seasons «приостановила оказание услуг по прямому управлению отелями» and that the hotels «продолжают независимую операционную деятельность под своим действующим именем с 6 июля». Wikipedia dates the cessation to March 2022 instead, and the register prints both rather than choosing. The hotel's own site still trades as “Four Seasons Hotel Moscow” in 2026, footer and all — and on fourseasons.com a legacy regional page still lists it while the current residences index does not and the /moscow/ path redirects to the corporate homepage. Three signals from one brand, pointing two ways.

Then the ownership chain, which is the part no operator field can carry. Alexey Khotin was sentenced to nine years in March 2024 for misappropriating 23.6bn roubles and declared bankrupt that autumn; part of Okhotny Ryad 2 was arrested in spring 2024 and seized by bailiffs in June. The Meshchansky Court transferred the entire building to the state — hotel, retail gallery and apartment complex — reported 13 November 2024. The 88 apartments passed to Rosimushchestvo «в рамках взыскания активов», and VTB bought them, closing 6 March 2026. The price was not disclosed: «Условия транзакции там не уточнили». VTB is discussing converting them to offices.

> A Moscow landmark hotel needs an ownership-chain field and not just an operator field. Owner, encumbrance, court action, current titleholder, each dated. Without it, “operator” says nothing about who controls the asset — and this record had an operator and no owner.

Not for a buyer looking for a Four Seasons-branded residence in Moscow: there has never been one. Not for anyone treating these apartments as available — a bank owns all eighty-eight and is discussing turning them into offices.
